Head of Sales

Minna Parikka is known for footwear designs with a playful flair for detail. The brand was launched in 2006 in Helsinki, Finland. The women's and children's shoes are manufactured in Spain from the finest materials with unparalleled attention to detail. Currently Minna Parikka’s designs are sold in 70 key retailers in 22 countries. 

This is a brand new position for a sales-driven person who is motivated to turn vision into reality and will give 100% to Make It Happen.

The Head of Sales at Minna Parikka is responsible for creating and implementing global sales through key luxury retailers as well as the Minna Parikka online store and Minna Parikka flagship store. The job involves working closely with these three non-hierarchical teams based in Helsinki, Finland.

Your key tasks: 
· Plan and build the international sales strategy, identify sales opportunities and key targets introducing the brand to appropriate markets and countries
· Define and agree sales budget and targets
· Head Team Leadership in Sales: Lead the wholesale team and coordinate and follow the sales of the flagship store and online store along with the team leaders
· Collaborate closely with Finance and Marketing to achieve further growth
· Measure and Deliver KPI’s: Measure each moving part and lead the operational team to deliver on company goals
· Arrange and attend sales meetings developing strong business relationships with key stockists, ensuring opportunities for growth are maximised
· Define and agree the sales critical path including due dates for samples and deadline dates for orders as well as pricing
· Present market research, market analysis, strategic direction and product requirements
· Manage and coordinate all sales collateral including samples, look books, price lists, etc.
· Monitor sell thru and identify opportunities for reorders
· Provide an end of season report detailing sales feedback by product and store to the design team

You Are:
· Experienced in high/luxury fashion, ideally encompassing footwear design – 5+ years of experience in similar position
· Well connected within the international market
· Sales driven with proven track record in growing and nurturing relationships with key accounts
· An inspirational leader and positive team player
· High-energy, company first, positive attitude: Must be motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment
· Strong analysis and presentation skills: Quick and high quality analysis and presentation creation
· Highly competitive and motivated and take great pleasure in running sales appointments/sales calls and closing deals
· Professional and well spoken, with excellent communication skills
· Fluent in English, demonstrating polished written and verbal communication skills
· Good judgement and decision making skills
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Hands on and committed, willing to invest in the long term
· Flexible for travel during the selling season
