Hunkydory was founded in 1996 by Ulrika and Christopher Bjercke. The couple met during their design studies at Esmod in Paris. Discovering how they both shared a love for premium craftsmanship and a deeply personal aesthetic — the idea of a starting their own brand was born.

The name Hunkydory means ”all is peaceful and relaxed”, an expression made famous through David Bowie’s album of 1971. It pinpoints the exact way you should feel wearing Hunkydory designs.

Today, the brand is available in over 10 countries and have received several awards for both outstanding design and entrepreneurship.

About the position
A great opportunity for the right candidate to grow within the company as we reposition the brand and diversify our business. Hunkydory is looking for a strong sales professional to play a pivotal role in this next phase. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a budding sales team in the relaunch of Hunkydory. Overseeing the Swedish market, managing key accounts directly and point person for all export sales partners.

Essential duties
* Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within target territories and segments to generate new business
* Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
* Analyze the territory’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers
* Develop clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective customers
* Coordinate sales effort with Customer Service, Marketing, Accounting, and Logistics
* Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, including weekly reporting to senior management
* Keep abreast of product trends, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
* Participate in trade shows

Home Market(s)
* Together with COO, set sales budgets/targets
* Plan and execute a sales strategy for home markets with consideration for all product categories, segments, specialty accounts and key accounts
* Manage sales meetings for all key accounts directly
* Identify opportunities for SMU’s, private labels or collabs
* Manage junior sales rep and sales support rep - setting budgets, prospects, road plans, trade fairs, PK clinics, sales incentives, events, activations, etc.
* Manage the commercial calendar (together with the Marketing director) and lead weekly sales meetings

Export Markets
* Point person for all communication with export sales partners
* Re-evaluate current distribution partners and potentially make beneficial changes
* Negotiate new contracts with all sales partners
* Identify new markets / sales partners based on market analysis
* Identify opportunities for growth
* Plan, execute seasonal sales meetings
* Together with COO, set sales budgets/targets, minimums, packages, seasonal guidelines for all sales partners to deliver at sales meetings & enforce through the sales season
* Sales Analysis
* Evaluate sales data on a seasonal basis
* Develop innovative strategies to expand in home markets and abroad
* Contribute to the development of all sales assets
