Are you passionate about outdoor products, sustainable solutions and eager to apply your skills in buying and production? Klättermusen is looking for a competent, detail-driven Buyer to join our dynamic Purchase and Production team in Åre. In this role, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working closely with Design, Materials, Logistics, and Quality. You will not only manage key aspects of the order and production process but also take responsibility for driving the team’s progress toward shared goals.

Location: Åre, Sweden

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Management: Manage order negotiations and forecasting for sewing factories. Coordinate the consolidation of trims and fabrics, monitor production progress, and track production schedules. Ensure internal deadlines are met and effectively communicate timelines across internal teams, including Design, Materials, Logistics, and Quality.
• Assortment Management: Keeping the information in the PLM systems up to date from time to time.
• Quality Control: Support with quality control processes at suppliers to ensure high product standards.
• Sourcing: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships with focus on transparency and ethical practices.
• Sustainability Projects: Contribute to sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental and social standards across the supply chain.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in buying, sourcing or procurement (preferably in apparel, shoe or backpack products)
• Relevant education in textile and purchasing fields
• Solid knowledge of sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and initiatives
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in other languages is a plus
• Willingness to travel, especially to Vietnam and China for factory visits
• Familiarity with tools like PLM systems and supplier audits is a plus
