Marimekko is searching for a Shop-in-shop Field Manager

As our Shop-in-shop Field Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Marimekko shop-in-shops in Scandinavia meet the set sales and KPI targets. You will coordinate all operational tasks needed to run the business smoothly and profitably. Further, you will ensure high level of visual standards and brand experience in shop-in-shops.

You will work in close collaboration with Retail Manager, Visual Merchandisers, other shop-in-shop personnel and different department store representatives.

To succeed in the position, you should have a minimum of one year of experience from a Department/Store Manager position, from which you have a proven track record in sales and leadership. A proactive and outgoing personality and great problem-solving skills will be needed.

In this position, you will mainly be working on the shop floor in our most important shop-in-shops in Stockholm, but the role also requires administrative work as well as traveling. In this position, you will report to Scandinavian Retail Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Setting daily and weekly goals for Marimekko shop-in-shops in Scandinavia
Following up on sales and KPI’s and taking action to improve these in a proactive manner
Being active in the daily sales work on the floor. Implementing high-quality and inspiring sales and service according to Marimekko’s customer service model
Continuously giving feedback and coaching the other Marimekko SiS staff to achieve the targets
Organizing trainings and workshops to train brand, product and sales for other Marimekko personnel but also department store staff and personal shoppers
Coordinating all campaigns and activations for all SiS units according to department store marketing calendars ensuring that all internal stakeholders are aligned and activities planned and executed in a successful manner
Independently coordinating and handling all daily operative tasks related to the shops
Managing the implementation of Visual merchandising guidelines, following up the results of VM and taking action based on the results
To be able to take our Shop in shop management to the next level, we believe that you need:

Proven leadership experience (min. 1 year) from a Store Manager or similar position preferably within fashion or interior decoration
Proven experience on leading sales (concrete track record)
Great presentation skills and ability to give inspirational trainings in Swedish and English both in person and digitally
Experience from working in an international context
Proactive and outgoing personality with ability to solve problems
Great administration skills
Willingness and ability to travel
