We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Klättermusen. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in our product range, have a strong problem-solving mindset, and thrive on challenges. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all products meet Klättermusen’s stringent quality requirements.

Location: Åre, Sweden

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Premium Quality: Guarantee the delivery of products that meet or exceed the company’s premium quality standards across all product lines.
• Planning and Oversight of Inspections: Plan and oversee all inspections of the production process, ensuring that products are being manufactured according to specifications, quality expectations, and sustainability standards.
• Supplier Collaboration: Organize and lead weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings with suppliers to monitor production progress, address any issues, and ensure timely resolution of any quality-related concerns.
• Factory Visits: Travel to production facilities (mostly located in Vietnam and China) to conduct thorough inspections, perform audits, and collaborate directly with factory management and teams to ensure the highest quality standards are being upheld.
• Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Quickly identify quality issues and take initiative to develop and implement solutions to maintain high standards throughout the production cycle.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, meetings, and quality assessments. Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on quality-related matters.
• Continuous Improvement: Work closely with product development, production, and design teams to identify areas for improvement, ensuring ongoing product innovation and quality enhancement.
• Training and Development: Help educate and train suppliers on quality standards, procedures, and Klättermusen’s expectations to foster a culture of excellence in production.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in quality assurance or quality control in the textile manufacturing or outdoor product industry.
• Strong knowledge of international production standards, quality inspection processes, and factory audits.
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and initiatives.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel, especially to Vietnam and China for factory visits.
• Knowledge of sustainability and ethical manufacturing practices is a plus.
